This enables it to simultaneously remove cations (such as calcium, magnesium, iron and other metal ions) and anions (such as chloride ions, sulfate ions, carbonate ions, etc.) from water during the same exchange process.
       For example, when preparing high-purity boiler feedwater, calcium and magnesium ions in the water can cause the formation of scale, while chloride ions may cause equipment corrosion. The mixed ion exchanger can remove these ions at once, reducing the hardness and conductivity of water significantly, meeting the strict requirements of boilers for water quality.

       Due to the synergistic effect of anion and cation exchange resins, mixed ion exchangers can achieve deep desalination.
