This enables it to simultaneously remove cations (such as calcium, magnesium, iron and other metal ions) and anions (such as chloride ions, sulfate ions, carbonate ions, etc.) from water during the same exchange process.
       For example, when preparing high-purity boiler feedwater, calcium and magnesium ions in the water can cause the formation of scale, while chloride ions may cause equipment corrosion. The mixed ion exchanger can remove these ions at once, reducing the hardness and conductivity of water significantly, meeting the strict requirements of boilers for water quality.
2. Strong deep desalination ability
       Due to the synergistic effect of anion and cation exchange resins, mixed ion exchangers can achieve deep desalination. It can reduce the salt content in water to a relatively low level, generally reducing the conductivity of water to below 0.1-0.2 μ S/cm. It is suitable for industrial production processes that require high water quality, such as the preparation of ultrapure water for chip manufacturing in the electronics industry.       For example, in the process of purifying the water quality of industrial circulating cooling water, if the ion concentration of the incoming water suddenly increases for some reason (such as changes in the quality of supplementary water or system leaks), the resin in the mixed ion exchanger can adjust its ion exchange capacity to ensure that the effluent water quality meets the water quality standards of circulating cooling water for a certain period of time, reducing the impact on the cooling system.
